Chapter 49. Truth Time
They drove over to Selena’s old neighborhood and she had memories playing in her head like a broken record, most of them not being so good.
She directed the beta and they finally came to a stop at her old house. The guy killed the engine and then they sat in silence for almost a full minute before he said something.
“Are you sure about this? Are you sure Elijah would be okay with you being here?”
“At this point, I don’t really care. I either make a decision or one is going to be made for me. And the best person I know who’s capable of making the best of decisions is my mom,” The omega explained. “She has single-handedly been there for my sister and I even though she barely had anything. She worked multiple jobs to keep us fed and clothed. If there’s anyone I can trust to help me make this decision, it’s her, Leon.”
