Suddenly, Raymond’s eyes turned inexplicably serious, and he furrowed his brows.
“Fasten your seatbelt.”
Before she could make sense of what was happening, he hit the gas pedal and sped away.
“Hey, where are you taking me?”
Again, Raymond remained silent. He drove her straight to a private clinic, specifically an obstetrics and gynecology practice. Worried, she hastily spoke:
