Chapter 108

Gabbie POV

“Kade, are you okay?” I hurried over to him.

I smoothed his face, though his eyes remained shut. I pinched his cheek as hard as I could.

“Ouch, Gabbie,” he winced.

“Oh, thank goodness. You’re okay.”

“I don’t know about that,” Tristan said. “They just took our Alpha King.”

“Fuck,” Kade groaned.

“They can’t. After that truck,” Kade ordered.

The men around me shifted into massive wolves. They ran after the heavy metal truck. It was a losing battle, though. I turned to the castle, and we went through a great deal to escape. It was the real enemy here.

The man who orchestrated this was long gone. He succeeded this round, we couldn’t let him win again.

We made it to the mainland, where a small group of Henry pack wolves had been hiding out, waiting for their Alpha to return. The other wolves returned empty-handed, as I feared. We didn’t just lose the Alpha, Gareth and General Silas.
