“You let her go!” Elise blasted.

“Yeah, Alex, haven’t we agreed Evans is a douchebag?” I crossed my arms.

“I couldn’t stop him from taking his daughter, besides, she wanted to go.”

“For all we know he just stuck her back at the institute. I’ll go check,” Elise said.
