Former Alpha Seth POV

“Sir, there is someone here to see you. He says it is important.”

I look up from my desk at my assistant standing in the doorway. Confused, I ask, “Do I have an appointment I don’t remember?”

My assistant shakes her head. “No, sir, but he insists it is important.”

I raise an eyebrow. “Okay. Show him in.”

I quickly scoop the confidential reports and documents off my desk and put them in my drawer. Just as I’m closing the drawer, Mike rushes into my office.

Before I can even ask him a question, he bursts out, “We have a problem.”

I slowly shake my head as I motion for him to have a seat in a chair near my desk. “Sit down first and take a breath. I think your head is going to explode if you don’t stop for a moment.”
