Chapter 83

Former Alpha Seth POV

“Sir, there is someone here to see you. He says it is important.”

I look up from my desk at my assistant standing in the doorway. Confused, I ask, “Do I have an appointment I don’t remember?”

My assistant shakes her head. “No, sir, but he insists it is important.”

I raise an eyebrow. “Okay. Show him in.”

I quickly scoop the confidential reports and documents off my desk and put them in my drawer. Just as I’m closing the drawer, Mike rushes into my office.

Why is he here?

Before I could even ask him a question, he bursts out, “We have a problem.”

I slowly shake my head as I motion for him to have a seat in a chair near my desk. “Sit down first and take a breath. I think your head is going to explode if you don’t stop for a moment.”

Mike quickly takes a seat right in front of my desk. However, he doesn’t calm down. Instead, he slides to the edge of the seat and chimes, “Caleb has been following me. He has inte
