I opened my bleary eyes in the wee hours of the morning to look around the room I was in. Last night, they had injected a tranquilizer to make me lose consciousness. By now, I realized how lethal my grandfather was. He still rigidly adhered to his obsolete principles! It made me wonder if my mother was abducted or if she willingly fled Ionia with Alpha Athos! Maybe she was a rebel like me!

The sun would rise in another two hours and he would go ahead with the Coronation and Luna Ceremony! I had to escape with Hera before that happened. As long as I was alive, there couldn’t be another mate for me other than Hera! No one could force me into anything! If he was adamant, so was I.

I sprang from the bed and quickly freshened up. I remembered having pocketed my grandfather’s mobile phone earlier. Feeling my pocket, a grin broke out on my lips when I felt it there. I took it out and called Zephyrus. Why hadn’t they arrived yet to rescue us?<
