I ran out of the pack house in a state of dilemma! After Zephyrus left home in haste, I was restless fighting the voice that prompted me to escape him, but this time I didn’t want to listen to it. A strange, contradictory force pulled me back from escaping my mate. All I could feel was Zephyrus’ tortured look, and my heart ached for him. No, I wouldn’t leave my mate!

I went to Hazel’s house to meet Cassie, but she had gone over to the pack house to meet Carla. I had to know who it was that beckoned me repeatedly. After meeting her, I felt too disturbed to think straight.
