Chapter 17
Draco sat in his study, writing letters to all the mages he had come across in his quest to break the first curse Ayra had placed on the pack. He sealed all of them and sent for the messenger. Minutes later, they were all gathered in his study, and he handed a letter to each of them. He went back to his seat and stared at them as he spoke, ensuring they knew the urgency of the issue on the ground.
“This is a very important task, as I believe we are all aware of, so treat it as a case of emergency. I don’t think I have to remind you of how scarce it is now to hunt games in the woods, how our young ones are falling ill, a strange phenomenon that has never occurred, and how the river has refused to bring forth water.”
