Chapter 19

Mia stretched in bed, patting her side for Draco dreamily, and scowled when the side she touched was empty. Her eyes shot open, falling on a tray of sweet-smelling food and a basin of warm water. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she thought of Draco. 

Sweet man. 

She groaned as she realized she was going to train for magic again during the day and scooted out of bed, stamping on the need to snuggle back in and sleep. She washed up, ate, and dressed as fast as she could. 

She stepped out of the room and went in the direction of Draco’s study. She had a lot of time to kill to do as she wanted since the maid hadn’t come to tell her the mages were waiting for her. She smiled as she headed for the study, anticipation zagging in her blood. She scoffed at herself, knowing she was behaving as if she had not seen Draco in days.

Even without her enhanced senses, she could sense the excitement in the air
