Alexander’s POV

When we got there, Renee was still right where I left her, slapping herself nonstop. She didn’t dare to stop, especially when I didn’t ask her to stop.

If she had stopped slapping herself, thinking I wouldn’t come back in here because I stormed off angrily, she would have really hated me because no one here in this clinic would like what I’d have done to her. However, she didn’t. And the bright red bruise on her cheek was just enough to get Rage back in control around her.

And of course, she hadn’t dared to take turns on both cheeks. She had hit Danica three times on the same side of her face, it was only fair that she had a taste of her own venom.

I would love to watch her hit herself for another hour… or two until her face and hand were numb enough to let her understand how far I’d go to make anyone that messes with my little Doc pay. But the pleading look in Danica’s eyes when she finally looked at me after recovering from the shock
