Chapter 23. Attempt
The other concubines had already retired to their quarters when Moses came downstairs. He thought it best that way. He was not willing to listen to their questions. Let Afhany tell them everything the next day.
He returned to the palace and learned that Eliza had also retired to bed, and only then did he look at the time. It was about three in the morning.
