Chapter 30. The Secret Meeting

"What are you doing here?" Moses asked annoyed by the beast. He did not like to see his women cornered.

The beast smiled.

"Shall we?" He asked and left ignoring the anger in Moses' eyes and they all followed him.

They left and went to the space behind the concubines' castle, to have some privacy. There was a bright line drawn in the air, like a small ray. The beast stopped next to that ray.

"You must cross that ray and you will reach your destination."

They passed through the ray and in a few minutes, they reached the Redô forest, as promised by the beast.

Liã led them to the castle where she had lived her childhood and there stood her father, the counselors, and the beast. She bowed to her father.

The other concubines marveled at the place. It was a clearing, but inexplicably beautiful and exotic.
