Chapter 64. Reconciliation
As Eliza began to stare at Moses accusingly, Pharaoh decided to speak.
"Your grandson is playing with his brothers. And I believe there is no one here below your social level. Please don't talk about it anymore as I will take it as a personal offense." Moses said in a powerful voice.
Don John stared at him as if he were a flea.
"I will say no more if that is your will. But I refuse to hold any kind of conversation here, in the presence of people who... are strangers to me." He said getting up and leaving the living room. Eliza made a gesture intending to follow him as she felt the same way, but one look from Moses and she remained quiet in her seat.
