Anacá's POV
I drove home in a better frame of mind, excited to start work the next day. I didn’t mind signing a bond with such a reputable company. It only meant they couldn’t throw me out of the job for five years.
I felt happy. Maybe dad was there nearby, blessing me.
I reached home only to find Josh sitting on my porch. I parked the car and alighted, my good mood going downhill. “You? What are you doing here, Josh? Don’t you have any work to do?” After last night, I had sworn never to see his face again. But here he was, shamelessly, waiting for me.
He sprang to his feet and glared at me. “No, I don’t. Thanks to you and your ass*ole husband. He threw me out of Krypton.”
I glared back at the infuriating guy. “Don’t drag me into this, Josh. You dug your own grave when you insulted your boss last night. You should be thankful he didn’t sue you for multiple reasons. And after the lies you spewed out of your mouth
