It was late when we left the venue. He drove homeward, his scowl gone. It seemed he was in a better frame of mind. This was the first time we were alone since the moment we had reached the venue. I didn’t know what to expect from him anymore. Definitely not miracles. They didn’t happen in my life. 

To my immense surprise, Killian smirked at me. “I’m glad the wedding went well. Our video has received millions of views in just a few hours! Can you believe it?” 

I nodded, not interested in those views. What I was interested in was my family’s views on the live telecast! I wished I could know how they reacted when they viewed it.
