Jenn could have sworn by a million galaxies that what jumped out of the water was a dragon! However, the super-handsome male form before she proved another far more fantastic fact. It wasn’t just any dragon, period.
What kind of dragon could be a top model? His long legs resembled a dashing body, though not as big as movie star The Rock. Jenn forgot to blink. She was staring at the bare chest exposed beneath the soaked white shirt.
“Are you done enjoying my body?” His mouth was not spitting fire but a heavy, melodious voice.
Jenn blinked. The irises that met her eyes were too dazzling. The man’s shimmering silver was hypnotizing as if there were diamonds embedded in the depths of his gaze.
“Who—no—” Jenn shook her head. “What are you?” she asked.
The man stepped forward, then half-bowed in front of Jenn. “Me?” He carved a grin like it split the sky. “Your guardian angel, Max Chester.”
