CASSANDRA

I suddenly woke up startled, where was I? Was i dead? Was this hell? Was this heaven? I asked no one in particular but myself.

I was still thinking and then my head suddenly throbbed pain making my body weak once more, I slumped backward and fell on something soft.

"I am dead right?" I thought. 

My eyes widened and I was now trying to comprehend the situation.

It doesn't feel like I was in hell or heaven or the afterlife rather it felt like I was in someone's house.

My eyes searched around the room as I still couldn't move an inch, I noticed I was in a hut, it looked so old and somewhat dirty like it was abandoned.

"Where am I?" I voiced out louder this time.

Suddenly I heard a voice from outside, it sounded like an animal was grunting and also approaching where I was.

Quickly I got a little strength and sprang up to my feet hastily.
