Chapter 100. Renewal Memory

Jackson's POV

She felt a light pressure on my hand and opened my eyes immediately. My eyes scanned her and I almost jumped for joy when she stirred in her sleep and slowly her eyes opened. She stared at the ceilings for a while and didn't say anything for a moment. My hold around her hand tightened, and she turned to look at me.

Her eyes were blanked as she stared at me with a frown on her face. I smiled at her as I placed her palm on my face while kissing it. "Thank the Goddess that threw finally awake. I thought I wouldn't get to see those beautiful eyes of yours. You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you. I thought that I'd never get to see you like this again. I don't know what to say… I just missed you so much," I said, standing up to hug her.

She didn't hug me back, and I thought that maybe she was just weak and definitely exhausted. I pulled back to look at her. She still stared back at me unblinkingly.<
