Chapter 99. Please Wake up

Jackson's POV

I sat there beside her, looking both defeated and tired. I just wanted to get her back, but regardless of what I did there was no way of getting her back. The only hope I had was gone, and I could only sit there and watch as she slowly slipped away from me. John placed his hand on my shoulder.

He wasn't saying anything, but I knew he had a lot to say but was worried that it wasn't the right time to say anything. I needed some kind of distraction because I felt like punching on something. As I lifted my gaze to look at her, I could hear my heart tearing into pieces while I held her hand tightly as if scared to let go. I brought her hand to my lips and kissed her knuckle.
