Chapter 39. Challenge

Caroline's POV.

We slept off and the best day, when we woke up, he took me back to the pack house. The moment we stepped into the building we saw Bruce with a worried gaze, but the minute he shifted his gaze to Jackson he frowned and looked angrily.

I wondered why he was angry and stepped towards him, but Jackson held my hand and stopped me. Bruce gritted his teeth as he walked towards us.

"I was looking for you everywhere and even asked others, but they said they didn't see you leave after you came back, which made me realize that he must've been the one who took you out," he said in frustration.

Jackson tilted his head. "You seem to forget your manners. I believe I am entitled to take my Luna anywhere I wish." While speaking, he signaled for a maid and came, bowing to him to show her respect. "Gather everyone," he told her before turning to look at Bruce. "What is the problem?" He raised a brow.
