Chapter 90. Severing Bond

Jackson's POV

The door to the room was suddenly pushed open, startling the both of us, and Peter stepped into the room. He immediately walked towards Caroline, grabbing her by the wrist.

He pulled her along with him while she struggled to free her hand.

"What are you doing? Let go of me," she snapped, finally setting herself free.

Peter sighed. "I'll make this simple. Follow me without any struggles for the sake of your unborn child," he reasoned, but it sounded like a threat.

"Where are you taking her to?" I asked suddenly, forcing him to look at me with a frown.

"Now you want to fight for her? Fine, let's settle the due," he challenged, and it took everything in me not to agree to the challenge.

I had to consider the plan, fighting Peter now would complicate things. Clenching my fist, I tried to suppress my instincts.

Peter snorted indignantly before he turned to look at Caroline
