Bruce and the team successfully escaped the vampire kingdom and I still couldn't get over the fact that I just left the love of my life behind. I felt guilty and ashamed of my incompetence to save her.

We reached a hut and hid. I was able to regain strength as I rested but my mind kept wandering off to Caroline welfare.

"What does Peter want with her?....The child!" I suddenly remembered and jolted up.

Bruce was altered and turned to face me.

"What's wrong Jackson?" He asked.

"We need to save Caroline….fast!" I replied.

"I know but we need to plan," he said.

"Staying any longer there could be dangerous for her"
