Chapter 95. Merging for Peace

Jackson's POV

He went unconscious, and I saw the people at the corners of my eyes sighing in relief. They must've been that scared to the core. They slowly dropped their shoulders as I turned to look at them.

"Thank you so much, alpha Jackson for protecting us from threats. We don't know what could've happened to the rest of us if not for your intervention," one of the elders stepped out to speak.

I darted my gaze around, and they landed on the dead bodies of the elders. Their cruel death must've brought terror in the hearts of the rest. I turned to look at them, about to speak again, when I saw them bowing their heads to show appreciation.

"Thank you so much for the selflessness you've shown to us, and we apologize for what one of us did to you, and we'll take full responsibility for that. Please let us repay you," they said with gratitude.

My gaze went back to Marcus and I could see guards draggin
