Sophia's POV

I sat down in the garden, when Derick walked up to me and sit beside me. I couldn't help but feel the intense chemistry between us. Despite everything that had happened, we had found a way to connect on a deeper level.

Derick's hand was resting on my thigh, and I felt my heart skip a beat. I turned to look at him and found his piercing blue eyes staring back at me, full of love and adoration.

Without thinking, I leaned in and pressed my lips to his, feeling a jolt of electricity run through my body. Derick responded with equal fervor, his arms wrapping around me as we deepened the kiss.

As we pulled away, I felt a blush rise to my cheeks. "I'm sorry," I whispered, feeling embarrassed.

"Don't be sorry," Derick said, his voice low and husky. "I've been wanting to do that for a long time."

I smiled and rested my head on his chest, feeling safe and loved in his arms. We sat in comfortable silence for a while, just enjoying each other's co
