Miranda's POV

“I was weak because the wolf inside me was trying to force himself out,” I told Theresa, sitting on the couch, clutching my head in agony.

Theresa looked at me with concern. “I’m sorry, Miranda. I wish there was something I could do to help you.”

I groaned as the pain intensified. “Is there really nothing we can do?”

She shook her head. “I’m afraid not. The only way to stop this is for Blake to die. Once he’s gone, you’ll have full control of yourself, and the power inside you.”
