I couldn’t help but smirk as I watched Amanda and Leah cower before me, the fear in their eyes almost more satisfying than the leverage itself. It was about time they knew their place. Mia stood by my side, her eyes gleaming with excitement at the prospect of the chaos we were about to cause.

“What are we going to do with them now?” Mia asked, breaking the silence. “Or do you want to be reunited with your wife now?”

I rolled my eyes. “I never loved Leah in the first place. Amanda forced her on me because she wanted to humiliate Sophia and her mother, in the past.”

Mia giggled. “Speaking of Sophia, by now they might have found out about my escaping. What’s going to happen now?”
