Sophia's POV

The forceful entrance startled us, and Derick's anger flared as he demanded to know who had barged into our home. Adjusting his glasses, the intruder revealed himself to be the Professor. My face lit up with delight, and I hurriedly embraced him, relieved that he had found his way to our secret location.

"Welcome, Professor! I hope the journey here wasn't too difficult," I exclaimed, my voice filled with genuine warmth.

The Professor smiled, appreciating the gesture. "Not at all, my dear. A little adventure never hurt anyone," he replied, his tone laced with amusement.

With introductions out of the way, Derick and the Professor stood face to face. The Professor's keen gaze analyzed Derick's features, noting the unmistakable presence of an Alpha. "You must be an Alpha," he stated matter-of-factly.

Derick's patience wore thin, and his anger seeped into his voice. "We didn't invite you here to answer your questions. Let's get down to business.
