Iris’s POV

Six months have already passed and still no news of Anna. I have long confirmed that the girl posing as Anna was really an imposter but I had no proof yet and the longer it took to get the whereabouts of Anna, the more things got worse in the pack and in the castle.

I no longer have peace. It wasn’t as though I couldn’t destroy these two women, who were making my life hell by sharing my husband with me but I was considering a lot of people who would be negativity affected and I held my peace.

Sharing my husband was the least of my problems as they have subtly started accusing me falsely and doing a lot of things to drive a wedge between Sean and I, especially Angela…

“Dear Luna, could you get me a cup of milk?” Angela asked me one day.

I just ignored her. I didn’t want to increase the tension already in the house.

“Luna, I asked for a cup of milk,” she repeated. “I am starving and that is what my body seem to need right now!”
