Iris was furious.

How did this she-wolf get my number? she thought. She could probably get it through Adrian.

Did he send her to call me so I would feel jealous? Is this how he wants to make himself worthy of my love? she asked as she tried to get back to sleep.

“Look at the way the stupid girl disrupted my sleep now!” she fumed.

As she was settling to sleep, her phone rang again. She was sure it was Miranda again.

“What do you want this time?” Iris asked, angrily. “Did I not make myself clear enough just now?”
