After getting the contract next day, they both came to show it to the wolf king and his wife.

“Mum, Dad,” she called as soon as they entered the mansion. “We have something to tell you!”

“What is it darling?” Millicent asked.

“Sean proposed last night and today, we are married!” she said injecting cheerfulness in her voice, raising her fingers and showing off her ring.

“What?” both the wolf king and his Luna shouted in unison.

“When did this happen?” Millicent asked, still shocked.

“I just said it,” Iris replied, laughing merrily. “Just now!”

“No, I mean when did you decide to get married and why did you not inform us?” she asked her daughter. She was happy she was finally moving on but it still came as a shock. She and Sean had not really known each other for long and she feared she had been too hasty.

“I wanted it to be a surprise!” Iris said.
