“Iris,” Andrew said as soon as she came down to see him. He had visited her in her Pack kingdom. “What is this I hear about your marriage coming up in less than a week?”
“Hello, Andrew,” she said. “Good to see you too!”
“I don’t have time for pleasantries, Iris,” he said, his eyes red. “Is the rumors true?”
“Yes, you heard right,” she answered. “It is not a rumor but a fact!”
“And I am the last person to hear about it?” he asked, pain in his eyes and voice. If she had not seen him with his lover, she would most definitely have felt guilty, guilty for hurting him so. But what tight did he have to feel hurt when he hadn’t been forthright with her?
