Chapter 89. Sean’s Mother

I wanted to forget the scene at the restaurant but my mind kept going over it again and again. It wasn’t that I didn’t trust Sean. In the five years that I have been married to him, he has never given me any cause to doubt his faithfulness. No, it was not Sean that I didn’t trust, it was that girl Angela. But it would have helped if Sean had told me who she was. It was clear, they had a history.

Marriage to Sean has been everything I could ever want in a marriage. He has been attentive, caring and loving. He had not allowed the absence of a child bother him or cause him to act differently towards me and I really appreciated that. He had kept his word about not allowing that affect our relationship.
