“Christopher Merryweather?” she tasted the name in her lips. “My father?”

Wendy nodded, looking at her daughter and affirming to herself yet again that she looked so much like Christopher.

“You said, he discarded you, kicked you aside for another,” observed the twelve year old Roxy. “Didn’t you tell him about your pregnancy or did he know about it and yet kicked you out?”
