A month later, Iris found out she was pregnant. To find out how Adrian would feel about this, she had ignored all his maltreatment. Roxy now frequented the pack. It was almost as though she was living Ng with them. She had also caught her with Adrian on various occasions but had not said anything, believing that things would get back to the way it was between her and Adrian before their marriage.

“You might be the Luna in name, I am the one really married to Adrian,” Roxy gloated one day. “You have no place here and soon, you will be driven away. We hat will you do then?” she taunted.

Iris kept quiet, not responding to her taunts but continued doing what she was doing in the kitchen.
