“That serves Andrew right for always supporting Iris against me!” she said to herself, as she walked into the room where Iris was receiving treatment.

She looked at her sister looking so pale. “My sister? She isn’t my sister. We are not related. Our fathers are different so are our mothers. I feel like I was just adopted with no blood relations to them!” she told herself.

Iris stirred.

“Oh, you’re awake!” Roxy said.

“Roxy, what do you want?” Iris asked weakly.

“Is that any way to treat your own sister?” she asked sarcastically. “I came to see how you are faring and all you can ask me is what I have come to do in your ward?”

“Please leave!” Iris said. “I don’t have the strength to argue with you.”

“Then don’t. Just listen!” Roxy commanded. “Adrian will never accept the baby you have in you,” she said smiling maliciously. “He just left now. And do you know what he said before leaving?”

“I’m sure you will tell me!” Iris said with a hint o
