“I have smeared an anti-inflammatory cream on the bruise on your cheek, Luna Iris,” the doctor said after checking up on her. “The injection I just gave you contains a sedative, it performs a dual function of easing any pain and discomfort you might feel and luring you to sleep.”

Iris nodded, she could not say anything. She was too overcome by the events unfolding daily in her life.

“Thank you very much, Doctor,” Andrew said.

The doctor nodded and left, wondering what the problem was with Alpha Adrian. How could he make him attend to Roxy first before his own Luna?

Andrew had come for him and as he was hurrying to see what had happened to their pregnant Luna, Adrian had stopped him.

“Where are you going Doctor?” he asked. “To attend to the Luna to avoid any danger to her or the baby!” he replied respectfully but purposefully.

“Attend to Roxy first!” he ordered. “She is seriously injured and can barely move!”
