Chapter 26. Tala

Gabriella's POVI flashed her a warm smile just prior to making my way toward her. She opened the door for me so that I could come inside. 

As soon as I went inside, I let my eyes to wander over all of the different sides of the house. To illuminate the interior of the home, there were a number of candles that had been lit. 

As I looked around the room, I spotted several photographs of different women, all of whom appeared to be quite serious. In addition to that, there was a mirrored cabinet that held a selection of bottles as well as creatures that had been preserved. 

I let out a deep sigh. I couldn't help but feel a shiver run through my entire body as a reaction to what I was watching.

"Follow me," was the order that she gave to me at that time.

I paused for a few seconds to look in her direction before I started following her. I finally admitted defeat and gave up attempting to keep up with her as she came to a stop in front of a doo
