Chapter 38. Why Don't You Try?

Gabriella's POV

"Alpha Viktor, we need to go now," remarked Drake, Alpha Viktor's Beta.

Alpha Viktor got out of his chair and confronted Jenny and me with his stern gaze.

Before he turned to look at Jenny, Alpha Viktor said goodbye to me and told me, "I have important things to do, so I'll have to leave you, for now, Gabriella."

Alpha Viktor told her, "And you, you are returning to your pack at this time."

Jenny glanced at him and asked, "Why are you sending me back, Viktor? I'm here to visit you!" Jenny's response to him was as if she disagreed with what Alpha Viktor had said, and then she looked at me.

Jenny continued to glare menacingly while she said, "I'll be back there next week, Viktor. I want to be with you, and I won't do anything there either," she added.

I narrowed my eyes. I am aware that she was a whore, and based on what she has shown me, she is successful in achieving everything that she has set out to do.
