Chapter 43. Viktor Is Clingy

Gabriella's POV

"Are you sure that this is the right choice for you? Are you ready to take on the challenge of competing with them?" During our travel back to Silver Fang, Alpha Viktor questioned my answers to several of his previous inquiries.

I responded, "I believe I can manage to go back there, Alpha Viktor; I'm already trained to engage in combat, and once I'm there, I intend to train further." I said.

Because of what I said, he became speechless, and as a consequence, I turned my attention to him. He appeared to be in deep thought as he peered out the window at the world outside.

"Are you experiencing any difficulties at this time, Alpha Viktor?" I immediately inquired about it.

"Gabriella, I won't make a fuss about it, but my concern is this: what if Alpha Javier does something to you again? You can count on me to watch over you since I'm not on your team." While he was responding, he gazed out the window.

"Don't worry about me, Alpha Vikto
