Chapter 40. Is There a Problem?

Gabriella's POV

"Jenny, what are you doing here?" When we emerged from the Palace, Alpha Viktor questioned her.

Jenny turned her head to me and grinned, "I am coming with you, Viktor!" I can see the thrill on her face now that she has responded to him.

She continued, "I have nothing to do here, so I decided to come with you to relax and to be with you!"

Because of what she said, I cocked my head to the side. I have no idea what was going through her head, but I had the impression that there was something she wanted to convey to me.

I didn't give Jenny attention. As soon as Alpha Viktor got into the car in front of us, I followed him into the vehicle and got into the second car that Jenny and I would use. Jenny grabbed my arm and turned my attention to her so that I wouldn't go in.

"I will not condone the two of you being together in any way. I will not consent to your removing him from my life!"
