Chapter 48. Confrontation!

Gabriella's POV

I was sitting on my bed when there was a knock on the door of my room. When the door opened, Javier entered. His expression was serious as if he had something important to say.

I took a deep breath before standing up to face him. He came closer to me while staring into my eyes.

"What do you need, Alpha Javier?" I asked him.

"What did you do to Amanda?" He asked me back, which made me frown.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Alpha Javier. I'm not doing anything to her," I defended myself.

"Amanda left crying earlier, Gabriella. When I asked her what happened, she said I would ask you," he informed me. My forehead furrowed even more because of what he said.

"If you're asking me, I didn't do anything bad to her, Alpha Javier. If she's referring to what I told her, I have no regrets," I replied.

"Why, what did you say to her, Gabriella?" He asked curiously.

"I just told the truth," I answered briefly.
