Maya’s POV
“Here’s the last of her things, Elias.” The driver set down a sleek black suitcase with surprising care. At first glance, I thought it was mine, but of course it wasn’t—it was Hart’s. I still couldn’t believe everything I owned could fit into a single carry-on. I’d wrestled with half a dozen overstuffed bags when I first arrived in the city, lugging them up flights of stairs and across crowded sidewalks.
