Anita’s POV

Having someone like Cassandra is a game changer, but having someone like Reagan is a whole different ball game.

“How long have you two been together—a year?” I asked curiously, wondering about the relationship between her and Richard.

Reagan looked at me wide-eyed, as if I had just committed an atrocious crime.

“What did I do wrong?”

“Girl, you took a really wild guess. Richard and I have been together for only three months!” she revealed.

I couldn’t believe her—they act so mature, like they’ve been together for the longest time.

“You both act so… put together!”

“It’s only God and one more person!”

“Who?”

“I think she knows already,” Reagan concluded, and her eyes brightened at the sight of the ice cream shop.

“It’s the prettiest, right? They have almost all the flavors you might need!” I giggled, making my way to the shop.

“I would say this is such an adventure for me already!” Reagan beamed
