Anita’s POV
I woke up roughly to my alarm clock as I headed straight into the shower. I had woken up twice the previous night; my soul was unsettled, and yes, of course, it’s because I was where I shouldn’t be at the time.
I took a meticulous and intentional shower as I stared at myself in the mirror. I had grown so much that I didn’t even realize…
My long brown hair was now past my hip length, so whenever I had to take my bath, I had to pack it in a very specific bun. My green eyes glowed mysteriously as my eyelashes made them clearer and greener. My eyelashes would always touch my cheek when I closed my eyes.
“You know you look just like my mother when she was much younger; you have the same hair color, your lips are the same shape, in the form of a heart, and your eye shape is the same, just that her eye color is amber…” I remembered Damien as he described his mom.
I quickly shook off any thoughts that could distract me and proceeded to shower
