Anita’s POV

“Do you really think it’s fair for my own sister to get married to my ex?” I asked Richard as he sipped his wine.

He looked at me with a corner eye. After he had asked me a few minutes ago where I had been earlier that morning, truthfully I didn’t tell him, and when he had asked again, I just ignored him and ran into my room immediately.

I wouldn’t say I wasn’t pained about the fact that Stella was with Oliver, but how did they get together? It had only been barely nine months since I broke up with Oliver that I met Damien.

So what period had they started talking? For all I knew, Stella hated Oliver with the greatest passion.

And now they were lovers—not only lovers in love; they were married, expecting a baby!

What was very painful about the whole situation was that I and Oliver had ended the relationship in such an ill-mannered way, which was very unusual.
