Damien’s POV

I finally returned home after a long stay at the hotel. The waiter from the other day hadn’t been around for a while.

I knew she was embarrassed; she should be.

I drove into my mansion, eyeing every corner. I had people that worked for me, so the house was well-lit and lively.

I just wanted a good sleep that’s more natural and comfortable.

I stepped out as I greeted some of my staff. I had had a long week.

The following week was the next meeting, which I had rescheduled, and I knew that was going to be my chance to talk to Anita.

But what if she doesn’t come, or she sends the other co-partner to stand in for her?
