Damien’s POV

I watched as the airplane slowly started to descend. I was just twenty minutes from the airport, and every now and then I watched as airplanes arrived and departed.

I had always loved the sound and whooshing of airplanes; they were so satisfying to the ear and pleasing to the eyes.

My mom had made me love them so much that they became therapeutic for me.

Yvonne Cassandra King was a beautiful woman; she was as beautiful as the early morning sun, and she radiated a lot of positive energy.

That woman was my mother, and the closest person to her beauty was Anita.

I remembered when I shared my mom’s biography with Anita, and the way her eyes beamed whenever I talked about my mom made me think for a second that Anita was my mom’s younger version.

She had the vibrancy, she was stunning, and over all, she was the kindest woman I knew.

My dad tragically couldn’t find anyone like my mom, not like he sought someone else after
