Anita’s POV

I had walked quite confidently into Damien’s company, hoping the sun would shine brighter and warm up my cold heart and feet.

I had reassured myself that things wouldn’t have gone haywire…

Oh yes, it did…

I stared at the road as the car moved. I didn’t care to know if the car was moving backward or forward; all I cared about was: how did I get so lost in him in such a short while?

I was lost completely; it was such a strange but yet familiar feeling.

It seemed as if I was enjoying the view of the city as the car moved, but no, the city was passing through my soul as I opened myself up to the analysis of all that happened in under an hour.

We had finished the meeting quite early. As soon as we stepped into the boardroom for the commencement of the meeting, I felt like shrinking. All the while we were busy conversing in the meeting, I could feel his eyes on me.
