Damien’s POV
I couldn’t wrap my head around what was going on, but all I knew was that I didn’t want to let go.
Her lips were soft and sweet; she never stopped using the strawberry flavor of her lip gloss, and she made it very hard for me to want to let go.
The previous minute, she was running from me and into the elevator, and this minute, our lips were playing dangerously on one another.
She tried to resist and push me back, but I held on to her against the elevator. It wasn’t until then that I realized how much I missed her—her cologne, her natural scent that smelled like lavender, her breath, the way she looked at me with those forest green eyes, and the way she just surrendered to my warmth.
