Damien's POV

I shrugged and walked out of the room. I was going to head home in a few minutes.

I wanted to ask after the kids since they were not home, but I decided against it, but I was going to drop something off for them.

I made sure I bought a few things for them on my way. I went ahead and brought out the things I got for them and placed them carefully in the living room.

With no idea of what to do, I just sat on the sofa, hoping maybe Anita would come out and I would have to tell her I was heading back home.

“You should leave already,” I heard Anita voice out once she reached the living room.

“Yeah, right, I was waiting for you to come on out before I leave. I have been meaning to ask, Where did the kids go?”
